It’s not everyday that an injury ends up being a blessing in disguise. I certainly didn’t feel blessed 11 years ago when I ruptured 3 discs in my spine. Even less so when after 4 surgeries I was left with 3 fused lumbar discs and debilitating chronic pain that left me confined to bed for days at a time.
Pain medication was out of the question. I was a single dad with 3 school-aged children at home and the pain medications my doctors prescribed made me nauseous or incoherent, neither was an option.
For the next 3 years I was in and out of physical therapy with no change in my condition. Seeking answers outside of the established medical protocols I became involved with a nutritional company. However, in June 2003, they went out of business. Then a long time friend of mine, who had a tremendous health response, his 12 year knee pains disappeared in 4 months, told me about a company that manufactured a unique liquid product line.
